Evaluating the feasibility of blending fly ash and quarry dust in high-strength concrete to develop a sustainable concrete: A Study on the Mechanical and Durability Properties

Abstract Due to the increasing demand for mechanical properties of construction materials, High Strength Concrete (HSC) has been increasingly popular in recent decades. The raw materials utilized production it consume energy and negatively affect environment. There is a pressing need protect environment conserve natural resources which are being affected by both cement manufacturing aggregate production. In this research work, HSC blended with industrial wastes were assessed evaluate feasibility incorporating into high-strength concrete. An attempt made partially replace fine concrete fly ash quarry dust, respectively, at different percentages. workability, compressive strength, flexural strength concrete, along durability such as water absorption, porosity, density, acid loss, mass investigated reported. From results, can be inferred that utilizing dust up 30% each high proved beneficial terms performance. Therefore, concluded replacing sustainable alternative conventional HSC.
